Tan Yah Piang is a Partner in Corporate Real Estate. His areas of practice encompass direct and indirect property acquisitions and joint ventures.

Transactions in which he has been involved include:
 
•

advising a borrower in a S$480.2 million syndicated land and construction loan facility;
•

advising a majority stakeholder in a residential property development joint venture; and

•

advising a property fund on its acquisition of an office building in Singapore for S$145 million.
 

Yah Piang graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) in 1984 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1986. He joined the Legal Service after his graduation and held appointments as Assistant Registrar of Titles and Deputy Registrar of Deeds. He left the Legal Service for private practice at the end of 1985 and practised with various firms before joining Allen & Gledhill as a Consultant in 2005. Yah Piang became a Partner in July 2006.
