Tan E-Ping is a Partner in Financial Services. Her practice covers investment funds and she specialises in retail offerings in Singapore.
E-Ping has extensive experience advising on the establishment of local collective investment schemes for retail and restricted offers as well as on retail and restricted offerings of offshore collective investment schemes in Singapore. She also advises fund managers in the listing of their local and offshore collective investment schemes as exchange traded funds on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST).
Some of her past transactions include Lyxor International Asset Management’s secondary listing of Lyxor ETF Hong Kong (HSI) on the SGX-ST and UOB Asset Management Ltd’s establishment and primary listing of United SSE 50 China ETF on the SGX-ST. The latter is the first local China A-Shares exchange traded fund to be listed on the SGX-ST.
E-Ping graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2003. In addition to having been called to the Singapore Bar, she has been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales.
