Karen Tiah is a Partner in Financial Services. After being with the Legal department of the then Stock Exchange of Singapore Ltd (now Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd) for 5 years, Karen joined Allen & Gledhill in 2001. She continues to specialise in regulatory issues affecting the financial services industry. Karen has been co-ordinating industry responses and advising on the impact of the various changes to the securities legislation.
Karen continues to be actively involved in advising financial institutions on regulatory issues and various restructurings. Karen was also involved in advising on the SGX-ASX Linkage.
Karen graduated from the National University
of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1993
and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1994. She
also holds an LLM degree from the University of
Cambridge, where she was in residence at Wolfson
College in 1998/1999.
