Caring for our Community
We believe our approach and commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reflect our values, impact on the way we conduct our practice and influence our relationships with our clients, our people and the wider community. As a law firm, we not only wish to be known as a leader in the profession but also one that does the right thing: we would like to conduct our practice in a responsible manner, care for our people, and share our skills and success with the community that we live and operate in.
Good corporate citizenship is fundamental to Allen & Gledhill and I am pleased that we have accelerated our efforts in contributing to our community throughout the years. Our long-standing commitment includes pro bono work, supporting philanthropy through volunteerism and charity, taking care of our people, as well as respecting and preserving our environment.
Pro bono: For the public good
When Allen & Gledhill formally set up its pro bono programme in 2008, we aimed to leverage off our knowledge in corporate law and laws affecting charities and their governance to help charities in Singapore.
