Vacation Attachments

We welcome applications for vacation attachment from law students and individuals who are contemplating applying for pre-qualification training at Allen & Gledhill. Many of our current lawyers started their careers at the firm by undertaking an attachment with us. They will tell you that attachments provide an invaluable insight into the work we do and the atmosphere and work ethic we try to foster.

We are divided into six departments:

	Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions
	Corporate & Commercial
	Corporate Real Estate
	Financial Services
	Intellectual Property & Technology
	Litigation & Dispute Resolution

We will try to place you in the practice area in which you have expressed an interest. You will sit with a partner who will be your mentor for the duration of your attachment and who will be responsible for ensuring that you gain exposure to as wide a range of work as possible.

How to Apply

Applications for attachments can be sent to us via
e-mail and should contain:

	Transcripts of results achieved in your LLB examinations to date
	Copies of "O" and "A"; level certificates
	Details of your interests, hobbies, overseas travel
	Extra-curricular activities (please highlight any positions of responsibility which you have held)
	Prizes or awards which you have received
	In about 100 words explain why you would like to undertake an attachment with us and what you hope to achieve from the attachment
	Preferred areas of practice
